Multifaceted and self-taught creative graphic designer, with 5 years of experience in both the Adobe Creative Suite and web tools to creating elegant and easily translatable brand identities, and unique print and screen artwork for independent artists, record labels and event brands. ASMD is the brand-name for my freelance design endeavours, of which I have been dealing in an on-off fashion for the past few years, considering graphic design was not an initial passion I'd hope to get into.
During my tenure at 1001tracklists, I was responsible for developing and implementing the design language for the new social media assets, along with designing the relaunch of the brand’s ‘Top Producer’ awards, both of which make use of a refreshed, minimal design retaining the brand’s iconic and recognisable colour scheme, continually being reflected among its output.
SlashScore was a record label, co-run by myself and principal founder Fahim Ahmed. In my role, I was responsible for the creation and implementation of the design of both the brand and its assets, as well as maintaining the website for the brand.
For my work with Uppstar, I was responsible for creating the brand identity, and other brand assets, such as the artworks for releases on the record label.
EDM Cover Arts was a fan-driven project, spearheaded by Martin Naumann, and a team of like-minded individuals, to enable a new breed of designers within the music industry to flourish and showcase their creativity and expertise. All members were tasked collectively to create fan images for new releases, as well as take on work by request upon occasion.
